A Disposable Electrochemical Sensor for Lead Ion Detection Based on In Situ Polymerization of Conductive Polypyrrole Coating

Lead, a toxic heavy metal, is considered one of the most serious pollutants in water environment, posing grave threat to human health and global ecosystem. In this work, simple, fast sensitive sensor strategy for detecting trace lead ions (Pb2+) was proposed. The disposable electrochemical fabricated with screen-printed carbon electrode (SPCE), working modified single step situ polymerized phytic acid functionalized polypyrrole (PA-PPy). Differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV) employed realize efficient detection Pb2+ range 10–600 nM low limit 0.43 (S/N = 3). PA-PPy@SPCE exhibits good stability, repeatability anti-interference performance, indicating promising application real sample detection, satisfactory recoveries were obtained when tap samples. Furthermore, rapid polymerization composite material enables large-scale preparation.
